Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Rome, the capital of Italy, to participate in the fourth intergovernmental summit of Türkiye-Italia.
At the Airport of Esenbog, the Turkish leader, was escorted by Vice President Jewdade Jilmaz, General Secretary of the Presidential Administration Hakka Susmaz and Governor Ankara Vasip Shahin.
Together with President Erdogan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Family and Social Services Makhinur Ozdemir Goktash, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Ashkyn Buck, Mehmmet Nuri Ersa, Minister of National Defense Yashar Gühler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatikh, also departed to Rome. Kajyr, Minister of Trade of Omer Bolat, head of the National Intelligence Organization (Mi̇t) Ibrahim Kalyn, head of the Directorate of the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhretin Altun, chief adviser to the president on foreign policy and security Akif Chagatai Kylych and head of the Office of the defense industry Khaluk Gergyun.
As part of the summit, discussion of steps is expected to strengthen cooperation between Turkey and Italy, as well as the exchange of views on topical regional and global problems.
During the summit, it is also planned to sign a number of agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework of relations between the two countries. In addition, it is planned to organize a business forum involving business circles.
