Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Egypt to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit.
The TUR presidential flight was seen off at Esenboga Airport by Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Secretary General of the Presidential Administration Hakkı Susmaz and Ankara Provincial Governor Vasip Şahin.
The Turkish delegation flying to Egypt includes Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Ibrahim Kalın, head of the Liaison Office of the Presidential Administration Burhanettin Duran and chief adviser to the president on foreign policy and security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
Turkish leader At the invitation of Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, he will take part in the “Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh”, which will focus on the topic of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
President Erdogan is expected to address the summit participants and also hold meetings with foreign leaders.
