President Erdogan Left For Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan flew to Azerbaijan to attend a ceremony dedicated to November 8 – Victory Day, which will be held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

At Ataturk Airport, the Turkish head of state was seen off by Istanbul Governor Davut Gul, Chairman of the Istanbul branch of the Justice and Development Party Abdullah Ozdemir and other officials.

The President is accompanied on the trip Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Ibrahim Kalın, Director of the Office of Communications under the Presidential Administration Burhanettin Duran, Chairman of the Defense Industry Directorate Haluk Görgün and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.

During the visit, Erdogan is expected to hold talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, at which issues of bilateral, regional and global development will be discussed.
