Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the leaders of the MIKTA countries.
The negotiations took place within the framework of the summit of countries. Group of Twenty (G20), which takes place in Johannesburg (South Africa).
The informal association MIKTA includes Indonesia, Turkey, South Korea, Mexico and Australia.

The meeting, held at the Johannesburg Exhibition Center in South Africa on the sidelines of the G20 leaders’ summit, was held behind closed doors.
The reception was also attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration Burhanettin Duran, and chief presidential adviser of Turkey on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Halit Yerebakan and Secretary General of the National Movement Party İsmet Boyukataman.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The President met with Canadian Prime Minister Carney on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the Johannesburg Exhibition Centre.

The reception was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan, the head of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çagatay Kılıç, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Halit Yerebakan and Secretary General of the National Movement Party İsmet Boyukataman.
