President Erdogan Stressed Importance Of Maintaining Truce In Gaza

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, said that Turkey is closely monitoring terrorist attacks in Pakistan and tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The President also stressed the importance of continuing the truce between the two countries.

The Press Service of the Turkish President reports that President Erdogan held a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, where he arrived to participate in the Victory Day ceremony marking the 5th anniversary of the historic victory of the Azerbaijani army in the Second Karabakh War.

According to the statement, during the meeting, the leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Pakistan, as well as regional and global issues.

President Erdogan said that Ankara is making efforts to further develop relations between Turkey and Pakistan, primarily in the field of trade, but also in areas such as energy and defense industries.

The President noted that Turkey is closely monitoring terrorist attacks in Pakistan and tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Ankara considers it important to maintain the truce between the two countries.

President Erdogan expressed hope that negotiations between the parties, taking place under the auspices of Turkey, will lead to lasting stability. Ankara will continue to contribute to this process.
