Today, Türkiye is taking a leading position in the issue of peaceful diplomacy in the modern world. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the Istanbul Gençfest program at the Basketball Development Center.
“Today, Türkiye is a banner of humanitarian diplomacy. Today, Türkiye is a pioneer of peaceful diplomacy in the world,” said the Turkish leader.
President Erdogan also attracted attention to the efforts of the country aimed at eradicating terrorism.
“We make every effort to build a country and a region, free from terrorism, violence and threats of terrorism,” he stressed.
The president noted that in order to eradicate terrorism, sensitive and decisive steps are being taken.
“We will not stop until we reach the goal,” the Turkish leader emphasized, saying the desire to save the country “from this evil (terror) finally and irrevocably”.
President Erdogan expressed confidence that Türkiye without terrorism will become the cornerstone of Turkey, and also noted the importance of joint efforts.
