President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey is in constant combat readiness to protect the “green homeland” from forest fires: 27 aircraft, 105 helicopters, about 6 thousand cars, 25 thousand forest service employees and 132 thousand volunteers participate in the struggle.
Erdogan’s publication noted that Türkiye wages a large -scale struggle with forest fires both from the air and from the ground.
“Our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, first of all, as well as all the relevant institutions under the coordination of Afad continue to work without a break – with great sensitivity, dedication and sacrifice,” the Erdogan report.
