Türkiye will continue to go to the goal – the country’s complete independence in the field of energy. About this, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the opening ceremony of the Istanbul educational and research hospital of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
“We will continue our path until we achieve the goal – the complete independence of Turkey in the field of energy,” he said.
According to the Turkish leader, the energy was another sphere that led the country to success.
“We have invested in all spheres: from nuclear energy to hydroelectricity, from wind energy to geothermal energy, from solar energy to oil and natural gas. We strive to reveal the true potential of our country in this area,” he emphasized.
“Despite the opposition of the members of the” Fifth Column “hiding under the masks of environmental defenders, we brought our country to a new level thanks to the project of Akkui nuclear power plant,” said President Erdogan.
The Turkish leader also announced the completion of work on the Goktepe-3 well with the involvement of the seventh-generation drilling vessel “Abdulhamid Khan”, which were started on March 27.
“We discovered a new natural gas deposit with a volume of 75 billion cubic meters. This is enough to ensure the needs of only our houses for about 3.5 years,” he said.
