President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will take part in the summit of the heads of the NATO state and governments, which will be held in the Hague (Netherlands) on June 24-25.
This was announced by the director of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhretin Altun.
In a statement published on a social network, he noted that the summit will exchange views at a strategic level regarding threats and risks for Euro -Atlantic geography.
The main agenda of the summit Day will be the adoption of a new obligation to invest in defense in order to increase the allied defense expenses to the level required by the current situation in the field of security, Altun noted that the Summit will also be evaluated by the efforts of the alliance in the deterioration and protection of the main threats defined by NATO.
As part of the summit, the bilateral meetings of President Erdogan with the heads of state and governments of some participating countries are expected to hold.
