We see in young people not only architects of the future, but also the driving power of change. This is stated in the message of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of the Day of Ataturk and the Festival of Youth and Sports – May 19
The text of the message was published on the Relations Department under the Administration of the President of Turkey on the social network on Monday, May 19.
Erdogan noted that today it marks the 106th anniversary of the landing of the founder of the Republic -Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in Samsun in order to start a national liberation struggle.
The head of state emphasized that May 19 is the day that Ataturk devoted to Turkish youth.
The Turkish leader noted that the government continues to take steps for further development and strengthening of the republic. “We see not only architects of the future in the youth, but also the driving power of change. I sincerely believe that Turkish youth, carefully keeping their ancestors, with their enthusiasm, perseverance and dreams, will leave a bright mark in the era, which we call the“ century of Turkey, ”the president emphasized.
The head of state also indicated the importance of fulfilling the promise to leave a peaceful, prosperous and technologically developed country to the young generation.
According to him, opportunities are created to disclose the potential of youth in various fields – from science and art to sports, agriculture, diplomacy and nuclear technologies.
“hand in hand with young people we are moving towards the realization of the ideal of great and strong Turkey. We will support every young man who stubbornly works for the sake of realizing his dreams, does not give up to difficulties and strives to even more exalt the heritage left by his ancestors,” Erdogan said.
At the end, the head of state noted that Türkiye as the Strengthens takes the position of the “central player” and continues to consolidate this status. At the same time, in every success of the country, the country is given to the contribution of youth, and the desire for new achievements remains a constant source of inspiration.
The president respectfully honored the memory of all heroes of the national liberation struggle, especially the founder of the Republic of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
