President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for personally keeping the situation under control in connection with the crash of the AZAL plane.
The head of state said this at a meeting of the leaders of the two countries in Dushanbe.
“I would like to thank you for personally keeping this situation under control. You personally you control the progress of the investigation, and we had no doubt that it would objectively sort everything out. Therefore, I would like to once again express my gratitude that you considered it necessary to highlight this issue at our meeting,” said the Azerbaijani leader.
Aliyev also noted that there is good dynamics in the development of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia. “As you noted, not only trade and economic relations, but also in all other areas, relations have developed successfully this year. There is good dynamics in the development of trade turnover,” the politician said.
