President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on May 7 held negotiations with the President of Guinea-Bisau Umaru Sisoku Embalo.
“We know well the capabilities of your state, your country, your people. I am sure that you have studied our capabilities. We are at your service. I know that you really need to develop agriculture to the highest level. You probably understand that we are able to technologically and technically provide you with appropriate support and services. You can count on this regard,” his press service quotes the head of state.
The Belarusian leader emphasized that the parties have no closed topics for cooperation. “We are ready to negotiate in all directions. Including, if you are interested in, our military -industrial complex. In a word, Belarus is open for you,” Lukashenko emphasized.
The head of state noted that Belarus is ready to supply a wide range of necessary products in Guinea-Bisau, including food, clothes, shoes, industrial goods.
“I know that you will visit our leading enterprises that interest you. We will be very pleased to show you new samples that we produce there,” the president said.
The head of the African state at the beginning of the meeting noted that he is very pleased to be in Belarus. He said that he was aware of the country and its capabilities in various fields, including thanks to several previous meetings with Alexander Lukashenko, as well as communication, as Umar Sisoku Embalo emphasized, with common friends from Russia and other countries of the post -Soviet space.
“We know that Belarus has accumulated tremendous experience not only in the military sector, but also in the agro -industrial complex. We would like to use this experience and thus open a peculiar door to the future,” said the president of Guinea -Bisau.
The head of state added that he is very counting on cooperation with Belarus – our long -standing partner with whom we can develop economic relations at various levels.
