Moldova President Maya Sandu expressed confidence that her country would join the European Union until the end of this decade.
“I think that Moldova should become part of the EU in the coming years – until the end of this decade. This can happen if we all make efforts, if everything is working – each in its place – so that our desire becomes our desire reality, ”said Sandu.
She explained that joining the EU will give more opportunities for the country’s economic development, ensure its safety.
Note that the heads of state and governments of the EU at a summit in Brussels on June 23, 2022 approved the provision of candidates to Ukraine and Moldova to join the Union.
