In the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia on Saturday, October 1, the opening ceremony of the gas interconnector Greece-Bolgaria (IGB) took place. The ceremony was attended by the presidents of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Serbia, North Macedonia: Ilham Aliyev, Ruman Radev, Aleksandar Vuchich, Stevo Pendarovsky, head of the European Commission Ursula von Lyayen, Prime Ministers of Greece and Romania.
President of Serbia Vuchich in his speech noted that “… the project is important for Serbia. It should emphasize that if our friend Ilham Aliyev would not participate, it is unlikely that each of us could hope for gas diversification, as well as power supply … Dear friend, I see that today you have become very famous in Europe … “
