Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara received US Special Representative for Syria Tom Barrack and Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) Admiral Brad Cooper in the capital Damascus.
According to a statement published on the Telegram channel of the presidential administration, Shara met in Damascus with the US Special Representative for Syria Barrak and the commander of the US Central Command Cooper.
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Esad Hassan Sheibani, Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Kasra and intelligence chief Hussein es-Selame.
The parties discussed the latest events in Syria, the issue of supporting the political process and measures to strengthen security and stability in the country.
In During the meeting, it was noted that the mechanisms for implementing the agreement of March 10 are assessed in the context of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria.
