President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of independence pardoned 1180 convicts, reported by Turkmen media.
The head of Turkmenistan signed the corresponding decree at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of members of the State Security Council.
Berdimuhamedov instructed the heads of law enforcement agencies to carry out the necessary work so that the pardoned were released from the imprisonment and in the near future end up in the circle of their families.
Hyakims of Vilas, Estraps and Cities instructed to take the necessary measures to employ the pardoned.
Independence Day in Turkmenistan is celebrated on September 27.
