President of UAE condemned terrorist attack in Ankara

President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Ben Zaid Al Nahayan, called the Turkish colleague, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed the solidarity of his country in connection with a terrorist attack on the eve of Ankara.

“The United Arab Emirates are in solidarity with the Turkish state and the fraternal Turkish people,” said the head of the UAE during the conversation.

Mohammed bin Zaid Al Nahayan emphasized the need for joint efforts of the international community in the fight against all manifestations of terrorism.

The President of the UAE wished the speedy recovery to the police officers as a result of the attack.

Two terrorists staged an explosion at the gates of the Main Directorate of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey in Ankara.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Ali Yerlika, the incident took place on October 1 at about 09.30 local time.

One of the terrorists blew himself up, the other terrorist was neutralized. Two police officers received mild injuries, the head of the department said.

Ankara prosecutor’s office began the investigation of what happened.
