President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky suggested that Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko lead the Cabinet of Ministers.
“I suggested Yulia Sviridenko to head the Ukrainian government and significantly update his work. I expect the presentation of the program of actions of the new government in the near future,” Zelensky wrote in Telegram.
The head of state noted that he had a meeting with Sviridenko. “There was a report on the implementation of agreements with European and American partners on the support of Ukraine, which were reached as part of the recently held conference on the restoration of Ukraine. They should realize everything that can support the stability of our state and society,” he stressed.
According to Zelensky, at a meeting with Sviridenko we also discussed specific events that can strengthen the economic potential of Ukraine, expand the support programs of Ukrainians and scale their own weapons production.
“For this purpose, we begin the transformation of the executive system in Ukraine. I suggested Yulia Sviridenko to head the Ukrainian government and significantly update his work. I expect the presentation of the program of actions of the new government in the near future,” the president added.
