The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRSK) intends to develop relations with Azerbaijan in all areas.
This was stated by President TRSK Ersin Tatars at a press conference at the Erjan airport at Lefkosh before flying to Baku.
The head of state said that this is his first visit to Azerbaijan.
Tatars recalled that in the development of relations with other countries, TRSK is faced with the obstacles of the Greek side.
“We will develop relations with Azerbaijan in all areas. We go to Azerbaijan to develop ties in the field of education, culture and economics. The TRK flag will flutter in Azerbaijan,” the president said.
According to the head of state, a delegation consisting of 200 people, including businessmen, tourism workers, university representatives and investors, are sent to Azerbaijan.
Following the press conference, President TRSK Ersin Tatars, Prime Minister Unal integrated and the accompanying delegation left for Baku.
