Assistant President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration Hickmet Hajiyev, within the framework of the Diplomatic Forum, held in Turkish Antalya, spoke in the “Fake News in the Virtual World” panel, where issues were discussed in connection with the distribution of fake and fabricated information, Transfers Trend.
Speaking on the panel, Hickmet Hajiyev noted that at different times Azerbaijan was attacked by fake news, which was purposefully applied to certain circles, even some foreign media tried to form an incorrect opinion about Azerbaijan, referring to this non-relevant reality information. At the same time, in some cases, the accounts of persons who transferred the true information about Azerbaijan were closed in social networks.
