Estonian President Alar Caris discussed the topic of support for Ukraine with Swiss colleague Viola Amerd, who arrived on a visit to Tallinn. The head of the Estonian state announced this on the social network x.
“We both support the formula of the world of the President of Ukraine Zelensky,” said Estonia President.
The politician also expressed hope for the speedy beginning of negotiations between the EU and Switzerland about the future of relations that will deepen the interaction of Brussels and Bern.
Ammerd also met with Estonian Prime Minister Kai Callas. The head of the Estonian government reported on the social network X that the topic of Kyiv support was discussed.
Callas noted that she discussed with the head of the Swiss state the ways to improve relations between Estonia and Switzerland, as well as cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
“We also focused on the support of Ukraine. We discussed the importance of finding an international decision on the use of frozen assets of Russia,” Kallas added.
