Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan discussed strengthening of strategic partnership

Kazakhstan President Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed the further strengthening of the Kazakh-Uzbek strategic partnership and allied, the press service of the Akorda reports.

The leader of Kazakhstan believes that the Kazakh -Uzbek tandem is a vital necessity, and only together and together can we ensure sustainable development of countries. In this regard, the head of state supported the adoption of a strategic partnership and allied program between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan until 2034.

During the meeting, the presidents exchanged views on a wide range of issues of economic interaction, including an increase in mutual trade, cooperation in the areas of energy, transport, water economy, IT industry.

Particular attention during the conversation was paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties and the disclosure of the unique tourist potential of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
