Presidents Of Syria And UAE Held Meeting In Abu Dhabi

Presidents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Muhammad bin Zaid Al Nahayan and his Syrian colleague Ahmed al-Shara discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries.

According to the official agency of the UAE WAM, Al Nahayan and Syrian President met in the Palace of Shati in the capital of the UAU Abu Dhabi.

Al Nakhayan and Ash Shara discussed ways to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of development and economics, as well as “joint actions to satisfy mutual interests.”

Leaders also discussed regional problems and issues of common interest for Syria and the UAE.

Presidents emphasized “The importance of strengthening the foundations of peace, security and stability in the Middle East for the benefit of all countries and for the development and prosperity of their peoples.”

Al Nahayan said that his country supports the development and stability in Syria, which serve the interests of the people, as well as to achieve a prosperous future for the Syrians.

The SANA Official Syrian Information Agency reported that the Shara has been doing a tour of the member countries of the Council of Cooperation of the Persian Gulf countries after the abolition of most international sanctions against his country.

The purpose of the Balls of the Balls is to “expand cooperation within the comprehensive plan for reconstruction and economic development, as well as attract investment from the Gulf countries to Syria.”

The Council of Cooperation of the Persian Gulf countries includes 6 countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.

Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara visited the UAE on April 13.
