Presidents Of Turkey And Ukraine Discussed Bilateral Relations, Regional And Global Issues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

According to the statement published by the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey, during the conversation, leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Ukraine, regional and global issues.

President Erdogan said that he considers it extremely important the desire of Russia and Ukraine to resume direct negotiations and Türkiye is ready to provide the necessary support at each stage of this process.

The head of state noted that he will be glad to accept the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Turkey on the occasion of peace negotiations.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that a comprehensive ceasefire will create the necessary conditions for the resumption of peaceful negotiations and the presented opportunity should not be missed.
