Presidents Of United States And South Korea Discussed Trade Issues

The new President of South Korea Lee Jae Meun and US President Donald Trump agreed that Seoul and Washington should resolve the negotiations on tariffs as soon as possible, the leaders of the countries in a telephone conversation said.

According to Yonhap, the relations of South Korea and the USA were discussed during the first telephone conversation between Lee, who won the general elections in South Korea on June 3, and Trump.

They agreed on the immediate settlement of tariff rates between the two countries and aimed at achieving a specific result in this direction.
