Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Jean-Michel Luconda herself filed a petition for the resignation of the President Felix of the Numbers.
According to the presidential press service, the Rights accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister and his government.
It is noted that the current government will continue to fulfill military duties until a new government is appointed.
The post of Prime Minister Lukonde took in February 2021.
The numbers won the presidential election held in the DRC on December 20, 2023, receiving 73.34 percent of the vote. On January 20, he took the oath and became the president of the DRC for a second term.
