Prime Minister Moldova: Chisinau firmly intends to continue reforms

Hungarian President Katalin Novak accepted the Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic, who is on a working visit in Budapest.

According to the press service of the Government of Moldova, the parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Chisinau and Budapest, as well as the development of new opportunities for cooperation, in particular in the economic sphere.

The parties noted the constant efforts of the authorities to ensure the irreversibility of the European integration course of Moldova.

“The beginning of negotiations on joining the EU is the result of our joint work, we firmly intend to continue the reforms and the process of European modernization of the Republic of Moldova, including by harmonizing legislation with European standards,” said Dorin Republic.

As part of a visit to Budapest, the head of the Moldavian government also met with the Hungarian colleague Viktor Orban.
