Pashinyan recalled that Armenia will determine the border in accordance with the Almaty Declaration. “The process of delimitation and demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan enters the actual phase. The borders must go and decide on the place where the borders of the Republic of Armenia begin, and this should be the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijan Republic,” said politician.

The Prime Minister said that the boundaries of Armenia will not change by any millimeter, since in accordance with the Constitution this will require a referendum involving the entire population.

According to the politician, the Armenian side will be able to begin the process of delimitation and demarcation of the actual border on the site from Baganis to Berkaber in accordance with the protocol agreed on the commissions.

The head of the Cabinet of Council of Armenia noted that the mutual discovery of fire is a normal situation in conditions when the boundaries have not yet been defined.

“Our policy is to prevent war, to prevent the start of the war. That is why we decided to determine the borders of the Republic of Armenia in these regions, and we do this not only for the Republic of Armenia, but also specifically for the village of Osopepar, the village of Kiranz to ensure the safety of these villages, ”said the head of the Armenian government.

Pashinyan also warned about the consequences of attempts to oppose delimitation and demarcation of borders.

“This means that the war will begin on the weekend. And then I know what will happen at the end of this war. When we see each other somewhere in Yerevan, you will say:” We were villagers, we did not have such knowledge , and did you not have this knowledge, what did you do? ”, Armenian prime minister added.
