Prime Minister of Kazakhstan: Fuel reserves are enough for whole republic

In Kazakhstan, a State Commission was created to investigate the causes of accidents at the Atyrau oil refinery (ANPZ) and the Mangistau atomic energy plant (MAEK). This was announced by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov at a government meeting, Kazinform reports.

“Due to the disconnection at the energy supply of the power unit, the automatic protection system has worked. Today, power supply is restored. The regional data energy system is synchronized with the Western energy unit,” said Alikhan Smailov.

The prime minister also noted that no technological violations were detected at the Atyrau oil refinery. Timely measures were taken safe to stop the plant.

“At the moment, the plant restores its activities, like other enterprises. I want to specifically emphasize that there will be no fuel deficiency. There are enough fuel reserves for the whole republic. Species on the stop of all oil refineries are not true. The situation is under control” , – emphasized Alikhan Smailov.

He also said that on behalf of the head of state has already been created under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, the Special State Commission for the Investigation of the Causes of the accident.
