Moldova will not allow violations in the territory controlled by the constitutional authorities.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic, commenting on Chisinau’s decision to express the protest of the Russian Federation regarding the opening of polling stations in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, Moldipres reports.

“The Republic of Moldova always requires that it is respected, which means respect for the citizens of our country. The state acts where it can control the environment, respectively, we will not allow violations in the territory controlled by the constitutional authorities,” the prime minister said .

The head of the Moldovan government recalled that the Russian ambassador was transferred to the note of protest.

“I repeat once again, everyone must respect the state of the Republic of Moldova and thereby citizens of the Republic of Moldova,” said Richan.

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov on Tuesday, March 12 was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova. He has a protest in connection with the opening of polling stations in the Transnistrian region.

As emphasized in the department, “such actions of the Russian Federation violate the norms and principles of international law, and also undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
