Prime Minister of the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory) Masarur Barzani, as part of a visit to Washington, met with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This is stated in the message of the Prime Minister of the region.
Barzani expressed gratitude to the United States for the constant support of the Kurdish regional administration, and also noted that Rubio confirmed Washington’s commitment to a strong and stable region as part of the federal Iraq.
It is specified that the meeting discussed the resumption of oil exports from the region for the Irako-Turkish oil pipeline, as well as Erbil’s efforts to reform the economy.
