“Ukraine is ready to carry out the demilitarization of Crimea, because shelling is made from it, which makes the military infrastructure of the peninsula legitimate goals.” This was said by Prime Minister Denis Schmigal during the second summit of the Crimean Platform, Ukrinform reports.
He noted that today Crimea is one of the centers from where the shelling of Ukrainian cities is made and the killings of Ukrainians are being committed.
“Such actions turned the military infrastructure of Russia into Crimea into a legitimate military goal. Therefore, Ukraine is ready to carry out the demilitarization of Crimea and the elimination of these threats for both our state and all of Europe. At the same time, we would welcome the voluntary withdrawal of its troops and Russia and we would be welcomed and military equipment from the territory of Crimea and other territories of Ukraine, ”said Shmygal.
