The opening of the forum, which gathered about 150 representatives of the Spanish and Turkish business circles, was attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He noted that Spanish companies highly assess the improvement of the prospects of the Turkish economy, the courage of measures taken and the reliability of the economic program.

He noted that Spain decided to revise the current agreement on the protection and development of mutual investment with Turkey.

“Five memorandums of understanding that will be signed between state institutions will contribute to further acceleration of investment and implementation of joint projects in third countries,” the prime minister said.

“We are sure that we are opening great opportunities. We must strengthen our excellent relationship,” he added.
