Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Assades as part of a working visit to Dushanbe met with Tajikistan Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said that Assadov thanked the Tajik government for the fact that the country at a high level was a 100th anniversary of the nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.
The parties noted the contribution of visits and meetings at the highest level to strengthening interstate connections between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
In this context, the importance of the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan in April of this year is noted.
The current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in specific sectors of the economy were examined.
