In Baku with the participation of representatives of the State Committee on Refugees and Forced Migrants, representative offices of the UN Supreme Commissariat in Azerbaijan, as well as employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Public Association of Regional Development, a meeting was held on the return of forced immigrants.
The meeting discussed the steps planned by the state in the pilot process of returning, involving communities in the process of returning and strengthening the potential of communities, clarifying the needs and expectations of targeted communities in the process of returning. In particular, an exchange of views on such issues was held as providing the necessary information and increasing the awareness of the relevant communities on housing, services, employment, communications and coordination mechanisms.
It was noted that during the visit, representatives of the State Committee and Representative Office of the UN conducted a joint work and systemic exchange of views on the formation and expansion of public rights and capabilities as the main interested parties in this process, emphasized the importance of further expansion of existing cooperation.
