Prosecutor demanded for activist PFNE 7 years and 6 months in prison

In the Baku Court of Crime, the next lawsuit was held in the criminal case of the former immigrant, activist of the Party of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan (PNFA) Jafar Mirzaev, accused of illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs.

According to haqqın.az, the state prosecutor who acted in the process said that the defendant was proved, and demanded for him 7 years and 6 months in prison.

The trial will continue on January 13th.

Jafar Mirzoev, returned on November 24, 2021 to Azerbaijan from Germany in realer, was arrested on January 27 on charges of drug trafficking on a large scale. When operatives detained by the Main Drugs for the Combating of Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he found 12 grams of heroin, 4 tablets containing drugs. A criminal case was opened under Article 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal production, production, purchase, storage, transportation, transportation or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their precursors).
