Prosecutor demands 6 years in prison for Rasim Guliyev

Baku continued the trial of the former head of the executive authority Baku Rasim Guliyev, accused of an illegal demolition of a residential building, which was considered a historical monument.

As reported by the correspondent HaqQin.az, today at the meeting chaired by the judge of Faika Ganiyev, the state prinitor Eldar Hamzaev. The prosecutor said that the charges presented with Guliyev, during the trial, found their confirmation. The government prosecutor demanded to recognize Guliyev guilty of charges charged to him and sentenced to 6 years in prison, as well as to deprive his ability to hold posts in government agencies for 3 years by release.

Guliyev’s lawyers said they were not ready to perform protection. The trial will continue on December 16.

Note that Guliyev is accused of unlawful notion of the demolition of a historic building on the street D.Aliyeva in Baku and issuing permission to build multi-storey houses by the FF-2011 company.
