Prosecutor from Azerbaijan took part in assessment of police and border services of Romania

Head of the Department of Depressive persecution, Elnur Musaev, as part of the expert group of the anti -corruption department of the Council of Europe, held a monitoring mission in the capital of Romania Bucharest.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said that experts from Germany, Austria, Greece and Azerbaijan in early November checked the correspondence of measures to ensure the prevention of corruption, ethical regulation, preventing the conflict of interests, declaring financial interests, monitoring, ensuring internal security and preparing trade union-resistant ways personnel in the central authorities, as well as the police and border services of Romania to advanced European standards.

Earlier, Azerbaijani expert took part in the anti -corruption assessment of Lithuania and North Macedonia. Currently, police services of these countries are taking measures to carry out recommendations adopted with the participation of the Azerbaijani prosecutor.

In general, an expert from Azerbaijan over the past few years took part in the assessment of 16 countries as part of three leading international anti -corruption mechanisms.
