The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan has distributed information about the arrested MNB generators Movlane Shikhaliev and Nizami Shirinov.
According to the information, the investigation found that Shikhaliyev Movlan Mammadismail Oglu while working as the head of the Chief Investigation Department of MNS, together with his employees, falsified the evidence for 9 criminal cases, abusing official authority, made various corruption crimes, extorted bribes in Large size, by threats assigned property and money.
Also, the former head of the military counterintelligent department of the Ministry of Widrins by Nizami Talysh Ohl during the work on this post received a bribe in a major amount in return for the reception of persons to the Academy of MNS, changes in the place of service, abusing official authority, by threats assigned property and cash.
Movlan Shikhaliyev and Nizami Khirinov are attracted as accused of criminal case, they were charged under articles 182.3.1, 182.3.2 (extortion), Art. 294.3 (falsification of evidence), 311.3.1, 311.3.2, 311.3.3, 311.3.4 (receipt of bribes) 341.2.1, 341.2.3 (abuse of power, excess or inaction of power). In relation to the accused by the decision of the Baku Military Court, a preventive measure was elected in the form of arrest.
Currently, intensive investigative operational activities continue, aimed at identifying and improving the full range of perpetrators.
