As a result of operational investigative measures carried out by police and prosecutor’s bodies, another serious crime committed several years ago was disclosed.
According to Haqqin.az in the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, on October 11, 2020, the body of a resident of Baku Rustam Bayramov was discovered on the territory of the village of Govsan Surakhan district.
On this fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Surakhan district was instituted a criminal case under Article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code, however, the proceedings were suspended due to the impossibility of establishing a person who committed a crime.
Subsequently, the criminal case was studied in the General Prosecutor’s Office and the decision to terminate the proceedings was canceled.
The investigation found that on October 10, 2020, Radik Feiziev, Tair Alekperov and Rashad Kerimov on the basis of personal relations in the presence of a group of people who previously entered into a conspiracy, deliberately killed Rustam Bayramov, striking him with fists, legs and stones in various parts of the head and bodies. Based on the evidence collected on July 23 of this year, each of them was charged under Article 120.2.1 (murder by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) of the Criminal Code and the preventive measure in the form of detention was elected.
