The Prosecutor General’s Office was fined another representative of the media. This was reported in the press service of the department.
As a result of the investigation by the Office of off-criminal proceedings, it was found that the representative of Ibishbaili Fikret Faramaz oglu placed on his website jamaz.info unreliable information about the shell of Shusha’s city from Hankendi. In this regard, on January 12, violations were imputed under Article 388-1.1.1 (placement in the Internet resource forbidden to disseminate information) of the Administrative Corporation Code. Materials collected in the case were sent for consideration in court, on the same day, by decision of the Sabunchinsky District Court of the city, Baku F.Ibishbeili was fined at 500 manat.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan once again encourages the subjects of media and users of social networks to comply with the requirements of the legislation and reports that in the fight against the deliberate dissemination of unreliable, capable of causing a panic among the public information will be made decisive measures.
