In the Nasimi district court, the process in the criminal case of the accused in the extortion of the founder of LLC Azadinfo.az Mahir Alekperova continued. Speaking on the process of the public prosecutor requested to defend four years in prison.
In the course of the activities carried out by the General Action Corruption, it became known that M. Alkperov deliberately distributed non -etical video of a citizen R.Gyushov, and then, having achieved a personal meeting, received a sum of money in the amount of 2000 manat to remove this information.
Mahiru Alekperov was charged under Article 182.1 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The trial will continue on January 18.
