Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ermek Kosherbaev received the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Paek Chu-hyun. This was reported on Monday, November 17, in the Telegram channel of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of the Kazakh-Korean expanded strategic partnership in the trade, economic, transport, logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Particular attention was paid to the preparation of joint events at the highest and high levels in 2026, including within the framework of the format “Central Asia – Republic of Korea.”
The Minister noted that South Korea is an important partner of Kazakhstan in Asia and plays a key role in strengthening multilateral cooperation on regional and international platforms.
The interlocutors expressed interest in developing joint projects that will contribute to the growth of mutual trade and strengthening investment ties.
At the end of the meeting, mutual readiness to continue an active political dialogue based on mutual respect, trust and commitment to the progressive development of partnerships.
