Truck drivers blocked the section of the Yerevan-Megri road, the Armenian media reports.
The reason for the discontent of drivers is the scales placed on the roads. They demand to change the maximum allowed mass of trucks from 26 to 28 tons. Law enforcement officers are currently negotiating with drivers to open the road.
Note that earlier truck drivers also covered the interstate road. At the system of weighing trucks of the city of Sisian, drivers conducted a protest, demanding to revise the norms established by the inspection body for urban planning, technical and fire safety.
