On Tuesday, November 11, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
This is stated in a message posted on the website of the Russian head of state.
According to this information, the leaders discussed issues of further development of Russian-Uzbek relations of strategic partnership and alliance in a number of areas.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of large joint projects, including including in the energy sector. The important role of interregional interaction in strengthening trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties was noted, as well as the significant practical impact of the meeting of the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan held in October 2025 in the Moscow region.
During the telephone conversation, the presidents also touched upon current international topics and decided to continue regular contacts at various levels.
