Putin answered Rahmon

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon loudly performed at the Central Asia -Russia summit in Astana: he turned to the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with a request not to pursue a policy against the countries of Central Asia, as the former Soviet Union. Tajikistan has always respected the interests of his main strategic partner represented by Russia. They want to feel mutual respect in the country, Rakhmon noted.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, after Rachmon’s speech, said that “I think that he (Rahmon) is a large extent.”

“Of course, in the Soviet Union both books were published and theaters opened in national languages, developed culture and economics, but today, of course, we need to fill all our formats, including this format of a new summit, specific content” – said Putin.

According to the President of the Russian Federation, the meaning of the summit is not just to talk, but to look at general -level projects and needs, to promote not only in bilateral format, but throughout the entire region. Then many issues can be resolved with a great effect, Putin believes.

For his part, the leader of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev noted that “in the Soviet Union, much attention was paid to the development of the Union republics, and autonomous republics, and the national regions.” According to him, this was especially manifested in education and healthcare.
