According to the press secretary of the president, Vladimir Putin began to hold a closed meeting with the Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu and the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov.
Recall that the teachings of the Vostok-2022 are held at seven training grounds of the Eastern Military District, as well as in the waters of the Okhotsk and Japanese seas from September 1 to 7. More than 50 thousand military personnel, 5 thousand units of weapons and military equipment are involved in them, including 140 aircraft and 60 ships.
