Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, sent congratulatory messages to the leaders and citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirzyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
“In the congratulations, the President of Russia emphasized that on this day we pay tribute to appreciation and respect for the soldiers and workers of the rear, who at the cost of innumerable sacrifices and deprivations crushed Nazism,” the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
