Putin proposed solving food crisis in return for abolition of sanctions

Russian President Vladimir Putin, as part of a telephone conversation with Italy Prime Minister Mario Draga, said that Russia is ready to export grain and fertilizers if sanctions measures are removed from it, the Kremlin’s official website reports.

The publication notes that during the conversation, Putin emphasized that Russia is ready to contribute to the resolution of the food crisis. This is planned to be done due to the export of grain and fertilizers, but provided that politically motivated restrictions on the part of the Western states will be removed from Russia.
