Putin expressed gratitude to Lama for the decision of Vietnam to participate in events in Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory.
“We always emphasize that Russia and Vietnam are connected by many years of friendship, whose roots go not only during the struggle of Vietnam for their independence, but also in the Great Patriotic War, because – I want to remind all our colleagues and citizens of both countries – the volunteer contingent of the Vietnamese -internationalists took part in the battle of Moscow during the Great Domestic War and of course, large -scale events were associated with the struggle of Vietnam for their independence, and this has strengthened our relationship for decades, ”he said.
Today, according to the president, relations between countries are developing successfully in all directions and by diplomatic communication channels are supported regularly.
